House Info

• The cottage is 30 metres from the main dwelling (our house), 12 metres from Oxford Tiny House & 5km to Oxford village.

• Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the cottage. Smoking is permitted outside; please extinguish cigarettes in water.

• Sorry, no pets.

• As we are rural (and have chickens!), please remove your shoes when entering.

• No parties

• We no longer accept bookings for weddings or pre-wedding events. 

• Check in is from 2pm and check out is by 10am.

• We are on a septic tank.  Toilet paper can be flushed but no other items. There is a bin for tampons, pads, wipes, cotton wool etc.

• If cooking with oil/fat, allow it to cool and put it in the food scraps box (not down the sink as it could damage/block the septic tank).

• Only the guests booked are permitted to stay over.

• Please close the gate behind you as we have animals.

Our Environment

We try to minimise our environmental  impact, and reduce waste whenever we can.

• Reusable coffee cups and water bottles are provided for you to use while you are here. 

• Our tap water is drinkable.  

• A container for food waste collection is provided.

• Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel containers are refilled.

• We recycle as much as possible (plastic containers, tins, glass, paper, cardboard).  

• We will recycle any clean soft plastics you gather (bread bags, biscuit wrappers, chip/crisp packets, noodle wrappers, etc).

• Pieces of paper that are smaller than an envelope cannot be recycled so can be used to light the fire.
